Anyone can become a genius

A person who gets a good idea and develops it sufficiently to be recognized as a significant contribution to society is a genius. Great geniuses venture into unknown areas of science or the arts and develop ideas that bring enormous benefits to humankind. However, anyone can develop an approach that improves society, so not everyone can become a genius. This article explains how to do that.

People often think a high IQ is the most critical factor in defining a genius, so they consider a genius to be someone with an IQ of 140 or higher. High intelligence may be an asset for a genius, but it is not necessary. The most essential quality for developing genius is the freedom to do what you love. In that case, he thinks a lot about his activity and suddenly, when he does not expect it, good ideas about what he does come to mind. That is how a genius’s mind works.

Unfortunately, today we live in a society where the freedom to choose work is not developed. When a person decides what they want to do, they first have to go to school for years to meet bureaucratic requirements for their chosen career. That is not necessary. Furthermore, today’s education system requires potential geniuses to accumulate large amounts of knowledge. That is wrong. A person who does not critically evaluate information separates their knowledge and feelings from objective reality, which prevents geniuses from developing. Today’s education system most likely creates robots rather than geniuses.

Furthermore, when a person finishes school, their chances of getting the job they want are low because most positions are already filled. He also needs money to live. The work he has to do to survive in today’s society will not make them a genius.

A genius does not believe authorities because they lie to them — though often they do —but because they need to find the truth within themselves. They positively refuse any knowledge they do not feel is acceptable to them. They do what they like, and typically, they do it a lot. That gives them a deep understanding of what they do. Further on, they search for truth unconditionally because it is their highest value. They find the truth by being as objective as they can.

A genius practices objectivity in everyday life, and that teaches them not only to gain knowledge but also to be wise. Wisdom is indeed the highest reward a person can achieve. Only wisdom gives a person a good life and harmony in society. One should not waste life by failing to be wise; one should practice objectivity.

If a person does not get a chance to do what they like, they will not become a genius; they will become the opposite of a genius. They wouldn’t work at their jobs much more than they have to; they wouldn’t think about their work, and they wouldn’t come up with good ideas about what they do. They would be impotent and dissatisfied. That would direct them to follow authorities, who are often powerless and dissatisfied as well.

Instead of developing productive power, such a person searches for a subjective escape from his impotence and finds it where our society has established it: in power over the people. Such power manifests as higher status in society, glory, or money. Any success in these fields gives an illusion of overcoming man’s natural weaknesses. This is a straightforward mental solution for escaping dissatisfaction and brings happiness quickly.

However, such a man's whole orientation is alienated from the causes of his dissatisfaction, so his happiness is alienated as well. The return to reality is unavoidable and very painful. The pain blocks a person’s natural senses, so they cannot feel what is right; their mind is not free; their mind is a slave to greedy passion, so, contrary to genius, such a person cannot produce good ideas. Such a person makes terrible decisions for themself and society, bringing lots of trouble to both themselves and the community.

Actually, the person with such an orientation is crazy. This definition of craziness is not accepted in today’s society, but that’s precisely what it is. A community with such oriented people always has enormous conflicts of interest and a very destructive social orientation. That is just the world we live in. In conclusion, becoming a genius was never easy. Until our society changes, there is no help for the people there.

The system I propose offers people the freedom to express themselves and work in areas of interest. It will enable people to love what they do and, therefore, open possibilities for the development of geniuses. The new system will also require responsible behaviour in society, which will stimulate the development of a natural objective orientation among people, and as a result, society will be incomparably better.

Such a society will allow everyone to develop their senses, perception, intelligence, logic, and knowledge, enabling them to become a genius. Workers will become genial cooks, mechanics, philosophers, and scientists, and society as a whole will benefit greatly from it.
