Let’s finish with the social evil
So you are a student, and a bully harasses you at school? Or your boss abuses you at work? You can't find anyone who would disagree that these incidents happen all the time today. To protect yourself from harassment, you need to report it to the authorities. The culture we have inherited gives authorities more power than it gives to other people. The system we live in gives authorities the right to decide what is good or bad for you, better than you can. That is wrong.
Also, authorities value their power more than you do, so they can be easily corrupted. Besides that, even the courts can hardly protect you from sophisticated abuse. Yes, you may move to another school or company if they are available, but another bully or boss may abuse you there, too. If someone calls you names, your neighbour makes noise at night, or you name it, you do not have adequate protection from such harassment in everyday life anywhere.
Well, the evaluation system I have invented will protect you from all the evils mentioned above and much more. This is actually anarchy because people will not follow any written rules when evaluating others. This will give people much more effective protection than laws or authorities. Everyone will stop doing what others dislike and try their best to do what people like. This is what will make a good society.
But you may be concerned: what if somebody doesn't like that your singing is better than theirs? Would they evaluate you negatively just because he is jealous of your skill? First, I would like to say that everyone has a limited right to judge you negatively; let’s say three people a month. That would have to make you a worse person to him than his lousy boss is, and a salesperson who sold him spoiled food, or the politician who lied to him, which is hard to believe. An average person would never evaluate you negatively just because you sing better than they do.
Nevertheless, in the alienated and perverted society we live in today, some misevaluation may occur, but an individual evaluation would not have the power to cause significant harm to anyone. On the other hand, if you are an exposed person and do things that many people would not like you to do, you would receive numerous negative evaluations, which would hurt you and force you to change your behaviour.
Finally, the new system will ensure everyone’s strengths are equally valued. This means that if you sing better than someone else, it will not bother them much because they might excel in something else and find satisfaction there. Last but not least, the evaluation system will teach people to resolve potential conflicts through agreements. That would satisfy all sides in disputes without the intervention of authorities. Bravery and excellent skills in serving the people will be strongly appreciated and positively evaluated.
Actually, I cannot see any problem with the evaluation system, except for the resistance of a miniature narcissist inside you, people who do not like others evaluating them. But the assessment is precisely what will finally give each person equal rights and power in society. Its absence was the primary reason a good society never formed throughout human history.
People hurt others only when they feel superior and do not harm people who might hurt them back. The system of evaluation will make people respect each other, and that will prevent bad relationships from happening in society. However, if you are still concerned about the evaluation rights of people, we may try it without any awards and punishments involved. Let’s see how many good and bad evaluations each person gets, and that will significantly improve society. We may try it tomorrow, and a much better future will start tomorrow. The evaluation system will one day stop all evil.
